TOMRA AUTOSORT WORKSHOP PROGRAM
Who should attend
Managers and mechanics working in MRFs equipped with TOMRA AUTOSORT scanners. The purpose of the training is to increase mechanics’ knowledge of TOMRA operations to improve communication with the Van Dyk service department in troubleshooting over the phone. The training will consist of one (1) day of classroom lecture and two (2) days of hands‐on experience with the respective machine. The participants will be troubleshooting and replacing parts under the supervision of a dedicated specialist. Trainees are welcome to make requests to receive specialized instruction, but need to make said requests within (5) days before the training begins, so the curriculum can be adjusted.
Prerequisites required of all trainees
- Operators or Mechanics who would like a better understanding of how to maintain, troubleshoot
and repair a TOMRA Autosort machine. - Basic knowledge of electrical circuits
- Basic familiarity with TOMRA
- Fine mechanical skills

Travel
Monday and Friday are the planned travel days. On travel days, all expenses and transportation are the attendee’s responsibility. All other travel during the week will be provided. Van Dyk can assist with setting up shuttle services from the local airport if requested.
Accommodations
Lodging costs are included in the price of the training. Local hotel accommodations will be arranged.
Meals
Meals on travel days are the responsibility of the attendee. On training days all meals will be provided. Any special dietary needs should be communicated when enrolling in the training.
