USA Hauling & Recycling is currently upgrading their Murphy Road Recycling facility in Bridgeport, CT with industry leading equipment by VAN DYK Recycling Solutions. The commercial single stream plant will start up in December, 2013.
November 2013 – Owners Frank and Jerry Antonacci chose VAN DYK to help them keep up with tightening market requirements (such as the Green Fence standard) that force recyclers to continuously produce a quality end product.
To meet Murphy Road Recycling’s specific needs, VAN DYK provided a custom designed solution to improve the facility’s efficiency and quality of end product. The upgrade includes the addition of infeed conveyors, a Lubo OCC StarScreen®, and a TOMRA optical sorter, whose flexibility will allow the facility to make quick adjustments driven by fluctuating market dynamics.
