After careful research, Stamford based City Carting bought a Bollegraaf single stream system from VAN DYK Recycling Solutions. The state-of-the-art system is engineered with the latest technology by Bollegraaf.
September 2013 – It will include Lubo renowned screening technology, large hoods for removal of film, four TOMRA AUTOSORT 4 optical sorters (TOMRA’s newest model), a glass clean up system, and a Bollegraaf HCB 120 baler. It currently runs at 25 tons per hour.
The system is also prepared to sort SOP out of commercial loads in the future. Installation of the system in a brand new facility will begin in the fall of 2013. The system will start up in the beginning of 2014.
