BURRTEC Expands Fontana Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station with Lubo C&D Processing Line

October 2015 – BURRTEC, a large private waste hauler and recycler in Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange County, will soon be installing additional processing equipment to better serve their customers. The new sorting line will be equipped to handle construction and dry commercial waste loads, and can also be used to clean up source segregated organics before composting. The line will be capable of processing 20-30 tph and includes the latest AWS screening technology from VAN DYK Recycling Solutions and Lubo. Lubo’s patented AWS screen enables effective screening of challenging loads without the typical wrapping and maintenance of conventional screening alternatives. Multiple AWS screens have been installed and have proven to be an affordable alternative to more expensive trommels and slower shaking screens.
