Allgaier Process Technology is a world leader in developing technology for separating two dry materials with a different density. Their densimetric table uses vibration and a fluidized bed principle to draw light products out from the heavies. This technology can be used on materials such as:
- Composting
- Green Waste
- C&D debris
- Tires
- Metals
- Wood
- And much more
Working Principle
The densimetric table is set on an incline and uses a vibratory motion. A current of rising air crosses under the material, causing two effects:
- Less dense particles float without touching the base and slide down the incline
- More dense products touch the bottom and are pushed up the incline due to the vibration
Allgaier manufactures two densimetric table models, depending on the level of severity of the application:
- FM model: for materials with a low density and medium grain size. Robust design with wear and tear parts for severe operating conditions. Available in four widths (0.7, 1, 1.5, and 2.4 meters).
- M model: for materials with a high density and grain sizes up to 80 mm. Robust design processes materials such as crushed minerals or metals. Available in three widths (0.7, 1, and 1.5 meters).
