Fresh out of college Pieter Eenkema van Dijk traveled from Holland to prepare a market analysis of the baler market for Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions. When he completed the task Bollegraaf asked Pieter if he wanted to establish the North American marketplace for Bollegraaf Balers. Joined by his Brother Erik, the brother’s traveled throughout North America to teach recyclers the advantage of horizontal balers. Van Dyk Baler quickly established a reputation of delivering a product that exceeded the promised production and delivered the durability the recycling industry needed for constant operation.

With the introduction of recycling in North America the van Dijk brothers added recycling systems to their product line and built many of the first dual stream and then single stream processing facilities. 2009 marked Van Dyk Baler Corporation’s the 25th year in business and we remained the leader in introducing new technology as well as experience to the recycling industry.
